- (11-11-99) Starts with Beth at the $300 Question (Contestant Gary is a GREAT contestant and a great reminder of what made this show such a monster hit in its early run--just regular people who aren't playing a fake character like contestants on modern game shows, that are extremely easy to root for) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-12-99) Starts with John at the $32,000 Question (Special 30 minute episode. Poor Reege accidentally calls an answer correct before he even gets to ask the contestant if it's his final answer!!) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-13-99) Starts with Mike at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]

- (11-17-99) Starts with Meredith at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-18-99) Starts with Toby at the $250,000 Question (A Pokemon-related question is worth $500,000 to really age the hell out of this. John Carpenter begins his run at the tail-end of this episode) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-19-99) Starts with John at the $300 Question (Yes, this is the famous piece of television history where John Carpenter becomes the first ever winner of $1,000,000 on the show, and in iconic fashion) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-20-99) Starts with Steven at the $100 Question (A later contestant is from Ronkonkoma, which was like 15 minutes away from where I lived growing up!! Neat!! Also a later contestant's (who himself is one of the most entertaining contestants in the show's history at this point) Phone-a-Friend is a great little moment that serves as a reminder of why this show ruled the world for a brief period of time) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-21-99) Starts with John at the $300 Question (Reege announces that ABC has ordered more episodes of the show last minute) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-22-99) Starts with Jane at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-23-99) Starts with Chad at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-24-99) Starts with Lauren at the $1,000 Question (Great episode if you also roll your eyes when Regis claims that the 50/50 computer is "random". We wrap up the season finale with Thanksgiving wishes from Reege, a *great* and easy to root for contestant (with another all-timer Phone-a-Friend moment, as well as a Best Of compilation to end off) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-9-00) Starts with the Fastest Finger Question, with Jim winning and then starting the show (Premiere of the third run) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-10-00) Starts with David at the $2,000 Question (David is a GUTSY player that even had ME wincing) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-11-00) Starts with Jeff at the $4,000 Question (GSN screws up with the aspect ratio but thankfully fixes it about halfway through. Later contestant Jason (who is an absolute riot) uses a Phone-a-Friend that was a hot seat contestant on a previous episode) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-12-00) Starts with Jason at the $32,000 Question (Jason is another wonderfully easy to root for contestant) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-13-00) Starts with Mark at the $125,000 Question (Features a HEARTBREAKING $218,000 loss!!) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-14-00) Starts with Shawn at the $2,000 Question (Rough episode as multiple contestants flame out pretty early) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-15-00) Starts with Lawrence at the $4,000 Question (Lawrence loses $218,000 in a HEARTBREAKER, with no help from the worst Phone-a-Friend in the show's history at this point) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-16-00) Starts with Carl at the $300 Question (Dan Blonsky starts his run a the tail end of this episode) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-18-00) Starts with Dan at the $4,000 Question (Dan Blonsky becomes the second person to win $1,000,000 on this show. The 1993 World Trade Center terrorist attack is featured in a question to really show off how pre-9/11 this era of time is) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-20-00) Starts with Joel at the $300 Question (A later contestant loses on the $100 Question, and honestly no one wins more than $1,000 all night. Bar none the worst episode of the show up to this point) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-23-00) Starts with Nathaniel at the $16,000 Question (A later contestant decides to walk on the Million Dollar Question even though he's 99% sure his guess would've been correct... and it turns out, he was right for walking) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-25-00) Starts with Kurt at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-27-00) Starts with Jeff at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (1-29-00) Special Super Bowl episode, with nothing but questions about football [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-1-00) Starts with Patty at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-2-00) Starts with Mark at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-3-00) Starts with Edison at the $1,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-6-00) Starts with Greg at the $4,000 Question (GSN screws up the aspect ratio but fixes it after about fifteen minutes in) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-8-00) Starts with Matt at the $4,000 Question (A future Phone-a-Friend HILARIOUSLY eviscerates his friend for calling him with classic reactions from Regis!!) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-10-00) Starts with Judy at the $125,000 Question (Judy is another great, easy to root for contestant who meets a heartbreaking end in her run, and on an easy question too!! Also another $0 flameout, and with a Doctor no less!!) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-13-00) Starts with Steve at the $16,000 Question (A later contestant loses accidentally from misreading the question in a heartbreaker!! Also this is the episode where Rosie O'Donnell is the Phone-a-Friend... will she help the contestant win?) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-15-00) Starts with Steve at the $300 Question (Another eye-rolling instance of the "randomness" of the 50-50 that is brought upon with another CLASSIC Phone-a-Friend) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-17-00) Starts with Stephanie at the $300 Question (Stephanie goes on an incredible run and you can feel Regis and everyone in the building wanting her to win) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-20-00) Starts with Caroline at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-22-00) Starts with Steve at the $300 Question (Steve gets hosed by the audience in a question that the writers clearly thought more people knew than they did, and then the audience screws over *another* contestant. Indie wrestling promoter/manager Norm Connors of Steel City Wrestling is a contestant) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-23-00) Starts with Mark at the $300 Question (Mark's Phone-a-Friend should have been a contestant he's fantastic) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-24-00) Starts with Rob at the $125,000 Question (A future contestant, a former stand-up comic who is fantastic, has a name similar to stand-up comedian Rita Rudner so she calls in to root him on!! And his game ends in shocking fashion with his Phone-a-Friend, another comedian, politicial satirist Will Durst. A later contestant's son made him bring Smarties candies with him to help him get "smarter", so Regis implores that he eats them and then pass the rest on to him so he can have some, and you can actually hear Regis chewing on them while talking later and trying to be sneaky about it and man. Regis was the best) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-25-00) Starts with Shawn at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (2-27-00) Starts with Tracy at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (2-28-00) Starts with Melanie at the $32,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (2-29-00) Starts with Rich at the $300 Question (Rich takes his sweet time on some questions and it tests Reege's patience in a playful and clearly not serious manner but it's for sure a worst case scenario for the producers who know this isn't compelling television. Another awesome eyerolling "random" 50/50) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-1-00) Starts with Jim at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-2-00) Starts with Richard at the $125,000 Question (Richard is another gutsy player whose run ends in a heartbreaker) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-5-00) Starts with Jeff at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-7-00) Starts with Steve at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-9-00) Starts with Kyle at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-12-00) Starts with Kevin at the $500 Question (Kevin is another quick on his feet contestant and it gives Regis someone to bounce goofy comedy bits off of and you can tell Reege loves it. Another instance of whomever was in charge of placing where questions go on this show was apparently napping when they thought what hummus was made of was worth a $64,000 question. Even in 2000, come on man) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-14-00) Starts with Art at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-16-00) Starts with Al at the $125,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-19-00) Starts with Mike at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-21-00) Starts with Tracey at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-23-00) Starts with Matt at the $125,000 Question (Joe Trela becomes the third person to win the million dollars, and in bar none the most dramatic fashion in the show's history, with it being an uphill battle with him having no lifelines for the last five questions. Other than Kevin Smith, my favorite million dollar run in the show's history) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-24-00) Special Academy Awards edition of the show, with nothing but questions about films. Meredith Viera cameos in the beginning in a cute little "oh hey you'd be hosting this show pretty soon huh" kind of way. This episode is a disaster and really shows off how bad these gimmick episodes are. No one wins over $16,000 all episode and you have TWO people walking before reaching the $32,000 plateau, a guy who wins $0, and a guy who burns all three lifelines before he even reaches $1,000. It becomes clear almost immediately that the question writers did a terrible job of ascertaining what constituted as an easy question and what didn't. It also makes for really crappy television. Terrible idea. The football one was also iffy (like seriously, the Ask the Audience lifeline is made basically useless on that episode/concept) but this was an entirely different level [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-28-00) Starts with Jason at the $1,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-30-00) Starts with Patrick at the $32,000 Question (Regis jokingly looks at a letter a kid wrote in to him while waiting for Patrick to make a decision on his question, and Reege is clearly rooting for him to do well) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-2-00) Starts with Ian at the $250,000 Question (Ian's $250,000 question shot is one of the all-time best moments in the show's history at this point and once again reminds you of why this show was #1 on television for so long. Another easy to root for contestant that you watch slowly have his epiphany and you can feel Reege and the audience wanting to see it happen for him!! Genuinely a great moment in the show) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-4-00) Starts with Julie at the $300 Question (Two back-to-back contestants are friends with each other and after she loses she's in the audience immediately rooting him on!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-6-00) Starts with David at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-9-00) Starts with Bob at the $500 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-11-00) Starts with Rich at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-13-00) Starts with Eileen at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-18-00) Starts with Tom at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-20-00) Starts with Jay at the $300 Question (Jay's run is a real fun, gutsy one that ends in a heartbreaker!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-23-00) Starts with Mike at the $300 Question (Easter Sunday episode, as announced by Regis with Easter wishes at the end of the show. Later contestant Steven is a gutsy player with absolutely no fear but his run sadly ends in heartbreak) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-25-00) Starts with Leigh at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-27-00) Starts with Scott at the $4,000 Question (Later contestant Mike goes on an INCREDIBLE miracle run with gutsy guesses that need to be seen to be believed!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (4-30-00) Starts with Gus at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-7-00) Starts with Leslie at the $2,000 Question (How well do you remember the shirts Beavis and Butt-Head wear?) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-9-00) Starts with Bruce at the $300 Question (Later contestant Gerard is a riot who gets Regis to crack on multiple occasions!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-10-00) Starts with Jim at the $300 Question (GSN screws up the aspect ratio for about a good half of the episode unfortunately. Contestant Jason goes on an *insane* run that terrifies Regis!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-11-00) Starts with Linda at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-14-00) Starts with Ron at the $8,000 Question (Features two great 80s movie questions that completely stump both contestants) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-16-00) Starts with Troy at the $32,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-17-00) Starts with Lisa at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-18-00) Starts with Renee at the $32,000 Question (100th episode of the show, as announced by Regis. About a minute or so missing due to a cable glitch. Regis makes a funny little reference to Maury Povich hosting the rival show, Twenty-One!! We have for the first time ever, a tie between two contestants in the Fastest Finger question who both got it right down to the tenths of a second mark!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-21-00) Night 1 of the Special Champions Edition, where big winners from past episodes all compete for charity!! Joe Trela is the first contestant [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-23-00) Night 2 of the Special Champions Edition, where big winners from past episodes all compete for charity!! Mike Avitzur is the first contestant, at the $8,000 Question (Neil Larrimore gets to play this time and his run is as entertaining as his first one. Dan Blonsky's run is on this show, though it ends in very disappointing fashion. Tim Shields starts his run at the tail end. Tim is better known as the contestant who had a second chance to play originally after a bad question ended his run. The second chance was filmed but not aired, but he won $500,000 on the second chance so he qualified to appear on the show!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-24-00) Night 3 of the Special Champions Edition, where big winners from past episodes all compete for charity!! Tim Shields is the first contestant, at the $300 Question (The show thankfully shows rare footage of Tim's unaired $500,000 win to put us up to speed on why he's here. John Carpenter gets to play on this episode, and he even has to use a lifeline legitimately!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-25-00) Night 4 (and sadly the last night, because this has been a blast) of the Special Champions Edition, where big winners from past episodes all compete for charity!! John Carpenter is the first contestant, at the $250,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-28-00) Starts with Bill, returning from his run before the Special Champions Edition editions, at the $300 Question (In what must have been one shortlived move, they have Regis present the Fastest Finger question in a completely different and frankly disorienting and bad for TV kind of way, but it does lead to some very fast times. Also by now Regis is no longer saying what numbered night of the show it is in the intro) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-30-00) Starts with John at the $16,000 Question (A record seven out of ten of the first Fastest Finger contestants are women) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (5-31-00) Starts with Jody at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-1-00) Starts with Jane at the $125,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-4-00) Starts with Scott at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-6-00) Starts with Steve at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-7-00) Starts with Mike at the $4,000 Question (Contestant Tom, who is great, goes on an insane, gutsy run that leads to the episode ending RIGHT before the Million Dollar Question!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-11-00) Starts with Tom at the $1,000,000 Question (And for the first time in the show's history, we start the show with the $1,000,000 Question, and then the contestant after him, Allen, is another easy to root for person with a very emotional $250,000 win. Bob House starts his run on the tail end of this episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-13-00) Starts with Bob at the $300 Question (Bob House becomes the 4th person to win the million dollars as we wrap up maybe the best three episode block in this show's history between his, Tom's, and Allen's runs) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-15-00) Starts with Craig at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (6-18-00) Starts with Todd at the $2,000 Question (After bragging a few episodes ago about how every other primetime TV show was in reruns while this show was still doing new episodes, Regis makes the announcement that the show will be rerunning its first season for the next few weeks, which is pretty funny. Kim Hunt starts his run on this episode, to be continued when the show resumes in July. Reege wishes everyone a Happy Father's Day) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-6-00) Starts with Kim at the $64,000 Question (Kim Hunt becomes the 5th person to win the million dollars with some of the biggest balls in the show's history at this point by clearly not being 100% positive with his answer on the Million Dollar Question) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-9-00) Starts with Judy at the $2,000 Question (Later contestant Eric has a song for Regis that absolutely tickles him) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-11-00) Starts with Eric at the $32,000 Question (David Goodman becomes the 6th person to win the million dollars, steamrolling through the questions to the point where Regis thinks while he uses all three lifelines on the Million Dollar Question that he knew the answer all along, and honestly, I think I agree with Regis!! Regis is already back to doing the less exciting and more awkward way of doing the Fastest Finger Question reading. Was hoping they'd cut that shit out but I guess they try it again for some reason for a little while) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-13-00) Starts with Maureen at the $300 Question (There was a HUGE screwup with the Fastest Finger Question and a contestant who should have won didn't, so they're going to bring him back in a future show, as announced by Regis in a voiceover during the end credits. On the bright side they stop the bad way of doing the Fastest Finger question again) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-16-00) Starts with Eric at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-18-00) Starts with Lowell at the $4,000 Question (Lowell's Phone-a-Friend is a great little funny moment) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-20-00) Starts with Jim at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-23-00) Starts with Beth at the $4,000 Question (Contestant Joe goes on a GREAT run!! Later Hot Seat contestant Richard was on the first ever episode but never got out of the Fastest Finger Question) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-25-00) Starts with Rich at the $8,000 Question (Rich takes his flameout very hard, and then it turns out the guy tried suing the show. Later contestant John uses his lifelines on questions where he had a first guess, and every single time it turned out he was correct in his first inclination, leading to him walking on a question he, as it turned out, would've been correct on had he guessed. Tough!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-27-00) Starts with Todd at the $64,000 Question (Later contestant Kati begins her extremely divisive run on the show, taking way too much time on each question and clearly making Regis and the producers lose patience and it is my belief that she became the later poster child for why they decided to put a time limit on answering questions much further down the road. Also she kinda has a weirdly dismissive and awkwardly conceited attitude which doesn't exactly endear her to anyone I think, down to bragging about how she knew the person before her got his question wrong before Regis said so which yeah, is kinda weird isn't it.) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (7-30-00) Starts with Kati at the $125,000 Question (Kati rather infamously crashes and burns on her $500,000 Question, this being after she took FIFTY minutes on the question (edited down to seven). She makes it apparent during the $250,000 Question (that she reportedly spent 30+ minutes on) that she's wanting to be the first woman win the million by any means necessary (and then cites "I think the problem is women don't risk it on this show" which fails the laugh test, especially considering she admits she's only ever seen four episodes of the show at this point) so she talks in circles (and circles... and circles... and circles... it actually irritated the hell out of me) to the point where some people believe she is trying to pry any free information out of Regis that she can, which I can see the argument being made. And to cap it off, her temper tantrum when she loses is at this point the biggest sore loser moment in the history of the show. It's like she was going out of her way for her entire run to be as unlikable as possible. Reportedly she apologized to the show later on which, good on her. It's hard to say you'd act better than her when those bright lights are shining down on you, but still. Definitely a mega rough week of the show between her and the lawsuit guy) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-1-00) Starts with Daniel at the $4,000 Question (A contestant later in the show, Steve, was the Phone-a-Friend for a previous contestant, who is in the audience to root him on, and she even gives Reege an update on what she's done with her winnings. He's also visibly nervous the entire time (shaking when he's doing the part where he holds up the check) which makes him another easy to root for contestant, on top of being very dorky funny) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-3-00) Starts with David at the $500 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-6-00) Starts with Kurt at the $500 Question (One later contestant is extremely awkward which completely bewilders Regis, and his Phone-a-Friend is just as awkward as he is!! To his credit, his nervous awkwardness endears him to the entire audience and Regis all clearly rooting for him to win. Another Hot Seat contestant is a Fastest Finger contestant from a few weeks ago who was brought back because her computer malfunctoned) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-8-00) Starts with Jennifer at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-10-00) Starts with Kevin at the $64,000 Question (A later contestant's reaction to winning the $64,000 Question delights Regis so much that he has the show do a slow motion instant replay of it) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-13-00) Starts with David at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-15-00) Starts with Phil at the $500 Question (Phil has the greatest comeback in the show's history at this point, having lost all three lifelines by the $8,000 Question, in a *highly recommended* run for those who like to see people triumph when their back is against the wall!! A later contestant's reaction to winning the Fastest Finger Question is *priceless*!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-17-00) Starts with Frank at the $4,000 Question (Features a HEARTBREAKING $218,000 loss that even has the audience crying out in horror!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-20-00) Starts with Tony at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-22-00) Starts with Jamie at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-24-00) Starts with Harry at the $64,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-27-00) Starts with Norman at the $300 Question (A later contestant is an autograph hunter who lost an auction for Reege's autograph, so he gives him a personalized autographed photo of himself for his collection!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-29-00) Starts with Christopher at the $125,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (8-31-00) Starts with Linda at the $64,000 Question (Multiple early flameouts in this one with no thanks the audience getting it wrong multiple times to the point where Regis jokingly chides them for finally getting one right at the end of the show) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-3-00) Starts with Karen at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-5-00) Starts with Rob at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-7-00) Starts with Shelton at the $16,000 Question (A later contestant uses Michael Shutterly, the first ever $500,000 winner in the show's history, as her Phone-a-Friend) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-12-00) Starts with Paul at the $300 Question (Paul goes on a GREAT run, much needed after almost a month's worth of awful flameouts, including a streak where everyone kept only winning $1,000 in a run of failures that must have been seriously wearing people out on this show) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-14-00) Starts with Tom at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-17-00) Starts with Steven at the $32,000 Question (A later contestant goes on a tear not needing any lifelines until the $125,000 Question, which leads to the burning of all three lifelines, and one GUTSY guess!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-19-00) Starts with Matt at the $1,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (9-21-00) Starts with Tara at the $16,000 Question (Special 90 minute episode of the show so they can compensate with the unfinished business of giving a contestant on the July 13th episode of the show the chance to play in the Hot Seat after he was incorrectly listed as getting the answers wrong in the Fastest Finger of that episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-1-00) Starts with Mary at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-3-00) Starts with Scott at the $32,000 Question (New Fall season premiere, which means we finally get a new intro with clips of random contestants as well as less Regis narration in the intro. Also Reege announces that the show will be on four nights a week rather than three. For all intents and purposes this is when the show finally goes on its slow but steady decline in viewership with burnout imminent to everyone but ABC) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-4-00) Starts with Kevin at the $2,000 Question (A WWF wrestling question is featured about Mick Foley and Regis, always a wrestling fan and a friend to professional wrestling as a whole, gets to talk a little about Mick's retirement. Honestly not surprised that Reege would be a fan of Mick's) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-5-00) Starts with Phil at the $250,000 Question (Phil goes on a GREAT run and when he walks Reege is so gutted... especially when it turns out Phil had an immediate gut hunch that was the right answer!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]

- (10-24-00) Millionaire Special Edition: US Olympics. Members of the Olympics compete to win money for charities. Starts with Lenny Krayzelburg at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-25-00) Millionaire Special Edition: US Olympics. Members of the Olympics compete to win money for charities. Starts with Dara Torres at the $300 Question (Maurice Greene has been helping everyone with answers to pre-$32,000 Questions this entire time but never makes it to the Hot Seat until the tail end of this episode. Stacy Dragila and Lisa Leslie never make it into the Hot Seat so Reege just gives them both $16,000 for their charities in a situation where I feel like producers decide to make a note and make sure to have enough time in future celebrity episodes to make sure everyone gets a turn in the hot seat. Maurice is absolutely TERRIFIED to be in the Hot Seat) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-26-00) Starts with Stan at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]

- (10-31-00) Starts with Lore at the $300 Question (Reege wishes everyone a Happy Halloween and cracks a joke about people dressing as him for the holiday) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-1-00) Starts with Joe at the $16,000 Question (Joe gets absolutely hosed by a bad audience, as well as a bad Phone-a-Friend, and then another eye-rolling instance of the "randomness" of the 50/50, but ignores them all and goes with his gut instead, with it paying off in one of those good little moments that the show used to be known before this point) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-2-00) Starts with Scott at the $16,000 Question (Glitchy GSN issues means about 45 seconds of the first Fastest Finger Question are missing. One of the funniest Phone-a-Friend moments in the show's history occurs when the Phone-a-Friend blurts out the answer before the contestant can even give out the four available choices!!)) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-5-00) Starts with Michael at the $32,000 Question (Features a BRUTAL Ask the Audience result where every single option's percentage is dangerously close to each other) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-8-00) Starts with Ian at the $16,000 Question (Later contestant Pat goes on an AMAZING run, becoming the second woman to reach the $1,000,000 Question in an all-time great run and when she walks after it turned out she had the right answer, the entire crowd cries out!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-9-00) Starts with Charlotte at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-13-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 1. Starts with Alec Baldwin winning the first Fastest Finger Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-14-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 2. Starts with Jon Stewart at the $250,000 Question (Kermit the Frog shows up in the audience to cheer everyone on!! - (11-17-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 5. Starts with Joy Behar at the $16,000 Question (This is indeed, the legendary episode where Norm Macdonald, who has been here the entire time and getting ragged on by Regis and other celebrities for being airheaded, goes on the run of a lifetime and almost wins $1,000,000 in inarguably one of the greatest, most entertaining runs in the show's history, and maybe some of the most famous moments in the show's history. For my money, my favorite episode of the entire show. Kato Kaelin is in the audience to cheer on Norm!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-21-00) Starts with Shari at the $64,000 Question (GSN screws up the aspect ratio for most of the episode, fixes it for a few minutes, and then screws it up again) [GSN/CC-2/A+]

- (11-23-00) Special Family Edition, with a kid as well as one of their parents in the Hot Seat at the same time to help each other out. Night 1: Starts with Rob and Micah winning the first Fastest Finger Question and entering the Hot Seat (Reege wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and asks some questions what they have to be thankful for this year. This might be a Hot Take but I feel like doing another stunt special barely a few days after the last stunt special is super fatiguing and just reminds you of why this show would later burn people out so hard. Like the kids are entertaining as you would expect but I feel like waiting another month for the Christmas season would've made way more sense with this one) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-24-00) Special Family Edition, with a kid as well as one of their parents in the Hot Seat at the same time to help each other out. Night 2: Starts with Lisa and Colin at the $8,000 Question (Reege adorably gets some fanart from one of the kids in the audience!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-26-00) Starts with Justin at the $300 Question (Justin, a dishwasher who is trying to start a new and better life, goes on an INSANE run that terrifies Regis and has him constantly on edge!! His earnestness makes everyone in the audience (and Regis) really cheer him on. Another gold star episode and a much needed feel good episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]

- (11-29-00) Starts with Tom at the $500,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-30-00) Starts with Matthew at the $64,000 Question (Another one of those rough early flameout episodes) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-3-00) Starts with Bob at the $4,000 Question (Bob gets screwed over bigtime when the audience votes an overwhelming majority on an answer and it's apparent that they only did that because his Phone-a-Friend, who himself wasn't sure of the answer, had suggested it as his guess) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-5-00) Starts with Lyn at the $500 Question (Later contestant Terry, an incredibly charming humble farmer who reminds me of the types of everyday contestants this show used to thrive on, goes on a great run!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-6-00) Starts with Nick at the $16,000 Question (Later contestant Jim, who goes on a GREAT run, tries to be slick and have his Phone-a-Friend look up a word in an encyclopedia rather than ask him the four choices and it doesn't work out well at all... or does it? Also later on in the show no one gets a Fastest Finger question right) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-7-00) Starts with Kristine at the $1,000 Question (Two episodes in a row where no one gets a Fastest Finger question right, and it's an insanely easy one too) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-10-00) Starts with Steve at the $125,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-12-00) Starts with Kevin at the $125,000 Question (Features a contestant who goes on a GREAT run with a heartbreaker of a walk away moment. I swore I recognized later contestant Andy (who is a great contestant) and it turns out it's because he's the champion on the surviving episode of The Big Showdown!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-13-00) Starts with Andy at the $500,000 Question (Andy finishes his great run on this episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-14-00) Starts with Fowler at the $500 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-17-00) Starts with Joel at the $64,000 Question (GSN screws up the aspect ratio for a few minutes) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-19-00) Special College Edition, with college kids competing. Starts with Shaili winning the first Fastest Finger Question (And immediately this edition is another disaster as all of these kids, who were picked due to their general academic intelligence, crash and burn on what else but pop culture questions) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-20-00) Special College Edition, with college kids competing. Starts with Ben at the $300 Question (Ben, who is a delight in the most scatterbrained way possible, finally asks the important question: does Regis ever get bored waiting for the contestants to make up their mind on a question? Meanwhile, Ben is such a quirky guy that it gives Reege someone to bounce snarky comments off of, and it makes for a fun and very entertaining round!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-21-00) Special College Edition, with college kids competing. Starts with Julie at the $2,000 Question (Features one of the most lopsided Ask the Audience failures I have ever seen on the show. Regis has a later contestant, who sings as a hobby, sing a Christmas tune for the audience with this being the last new episode before Christmas. The show goes into repeats for the holidays and we won't get a new episode until the new year starts) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (1-4-01) Starts with John at the $32,000 Question (It's the first episode of the new year and Regis announces the new rolling jackpot idea, where after each episode where no one wins the million, an extra $10,000 is added to the pot until someone wins it; and they include retroactive episodes no less, so if anyone wins it tonight they are winning $1,710,000) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (1-5-01) Starts with Susan at the $300 Question (One of the worst episodes of the series by far, with nothing but $1,000 flameouts AND a Fastest Finger Question that no one gets right) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (1-7-01) Starts with Randy at the $4,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (1-10-01) Starts with Eroll at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]

- (11-11-99) Starts with Beth at the $300 Question (Contestant Gary is a GREAT contestant and a great reminder of what made this show such a monster hit in its early run--just regular people who aren't playing a fake character like contestants on modern game shows, that are extremely easy to root for) [GSN/CC-1/A+]
- (11-12-99) Starts with John at the $32,000 Question (Special 30 minute episode. Poor Reege accidentally calls an answer correct before he even gets to ask the contestant if it's his final answer!!) [GSN/CC-1/A+]

- (3-12-00) Starts with Kevin at the $500 Question (Kevin is another quick on his feet contestant and it gives Regis someone to bounce goofy comedy bits off of and you can tell Reege loves it. Another instance of whomever was in charge of placing where questions go on this show was apparently napping when they thought what hummus was made of was worth a $64,000 question. Even in 2000, come on man) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (3-14-00) Starts with Art at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]

Honestly not surprised that Reege would be a fan of Mick's) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-5-00) Starts with Phil at the $250,000 Question (Phil goes on a GREAT run and when he walks Reege is so gutted... especially when it turns out Phil had an immediate gut hunch that was the right answer!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-8-00) Starts with Robin at the $2,000 Question (Robin goes on a great, entertaining run that ends in heartbreak when she decides to walk when she had a hunch on the answer!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-10-00) Starts with Joe at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-11-00) Starts with Bill at the $16,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-12-00) Starts with David at the $32,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-15-00) Starts with Alec at the $8,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-17-00) Starts with Jennifer at the $300 Question (Special 30 Minute episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-18-00) Starts with Rich at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-19-00) Starts with Greg at the $300 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-22-00) Millionaire Special Edition: US Olympics. Members of the Olympics compete to win money for charities. Rulon Gardner wins the first Fastest Finger Question and gets in the Hot Seat to start [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-24-00) Millionaire Special Edition: US Olympics.
Maurice is absolutely TERRIFIED to be in the Hot Seat) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-26-00) Starts with Stan at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-29-00) Starts with Todd at the $8,000 Question (Later contestant Dave goes on a GREAT run with a guess so gutsy that it has Regis praying to Mother Teresa!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (10-31-00) Starts with Lore at the $300 Question (Reege wishes everyone a Happy Halloween and cracks a joke about people dressing as him for the holiday) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-1-00) Starts with Joe at the $16,000 Question (Joe gets absolutely hosed by a bad audience, as well as a bad Phone-a-Friend, and then another eye-rolling instance of the "randomness" of the 50/50, but ignores them all and goes with his gut instead, with it paying off in one of those good little moments that the show used to be known before this point) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-2-00) Starts with Scott at the $16,000 Question (Glitchy GSN issues means about 45 seconds of the first Fastest Finger Question are missing.
Charlie Sheen uses Michael J. Fox as his Phone-a-Friend and it reminds me how much I adore him and how much I wish he did this show) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-15-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 3. Starts with Jon Lovitz at the $500 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-16-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 4. Starts with Tyra Banks at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-17-00) 2nd Edition of Celebrity Millionaire: Night 5. Kato Kaelin is in the audience to cheer on Norm!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-21-00) Starts with Shari at the $64,000 Question (GSN screws up the aspect ratio for most of the episode, fixes it for a few minutes, and then screws it up again) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-22-00) Starts with Debra at the $2,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-23-00) Special Family Edition, with a kid as well as one of their parents in the Hot Seat at the same time to help each other out.
Another gold star episode and a much needed feel good episode) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-28-00) Starts with Joe at the $32,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-29-00) Starts with Tom at the $500,000 Question [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (11-30-00) Starts with Matthew at the $64,000 Question (Another one of those rough early flameout episodes) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-3-00) Starts with Bob at the $4,000 Question (Bob gets screwed over bigtime when the audience votes an overwhelming majority on an answer and it's apparent that they only did that because his Phone-a-Friend, who himself wasn't sure of the answer, had suggested it as his guess) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-5-00) Starts with Lyn at the $500 Question (Later contestant Terry, an incredibly charming humble farmer who reminds me of the types of everyday contestants this show used to thrive on, goes on a great run!!) [GSN/CC-2/A+]
- (12-6-00) Starts with Nick at the $16,000 Question (Later contestant Jim, who goes on a GREAT run, tries to be slick and have his Phone-a-Friend look up a word in an encyclopedia rather than ask him the four choices and it doesn't work out well at all...
